We loved the location of this hostel - close to the port but tucked away on a quiet side street. The beds were comfortable, with the only drawback being limited head clearance on the bottom bunks. The rooms were not crowded, and we had access to lockers. The ample toilets and showers meant we never had to wait. The well-equipped kitchen was a bonus, and we enjoyed spending time in the great outdoor space.
The hostel could benefit from having more bathrooms as there were only 2 or 3, which could be challenging if the hostel was busier.

The rooms at Albergue de Sonia are cozy and comfortable, with a shared bathroom and bed linen. As a budget traveler, I appreciated the simple yet clean amenities that were provided.
Personally, I found the shared bathroom a little inconvenient at times. But I understand that it is a budget-friendly option and it might not bother others.

As a pilgrim visiting Fisterra, I stayed at Albergue De Sonia for a few nights. The location was ideal, close to the port but tucked away on a quiet street. The comfortable beds and spacious rooms were a much-needed respite after a long day of walking. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there were ample toilets and showers available. I especially enjoyed the outdoor space and the beautiful ocean view from the dorm room windows. The hosts were incredibly kind and even made personalized wax stamps for our pilgrim passes. I will definitely return to this albergue on my next visit.
100% Recommend this hotel.

This albergue is seriously one of the best for pilgrims! The hosts are beyond amazing, and the kitchen is just wow. I'll definitely be coming back, even though there are so many other albergues in town. Plus, the owner went above and beyond by making real wax stamps for our pilgrim passes. The place is nice and clean, except for a little water damage in my room, but they painted over it. The early checkout time of 9:00 am was a bit of a bummer, but overall, this albergue is mind-blowingly awesome. It's in a great location, super close to the bus station and city center. The receptionist was incredibly helpful, and the dorm rooms were so spacious with giant windows overlooking the ocean. The location was perfect, close to the port but surprisingly quiet. The beds were really comfy, except for the bottom bunk with limited head clearance. The rooms weren't crowded, and there were plenty of lockers available. They had enough toilets and showers, so no waiting required. And let's not forget about the kitchen, it was fully equipped and the outdoor space was jaw-dropping. Plus, they had free Wi-Fi in public areas. my stay here was absolutely fantastic!

Our specific experience was that we had a minor issue with the entrance code provided, but thankfully, another person helped us contact the hotel to get the correct code. a fellow pilgrim was kind enough to let us in.

We had a wonderful time exploring the area around Albergue De Sonia with our children. They absolutely loved the bike hire option available at the hostel, allowing us to enjoy bike rides together and discover the beautiful surroundings. We also took the opportunity to go diving, which was a thrilling experience for the whole family. The location was perfect for these activities, with stunning diving spots and scenic bike paths just a short distance away.
My wife says that it would have been great if the hostel had a designated play area for children.

Personally, we found that having a shared bathroom was a minor inconvenience. However, we understand that it is a common feature in this type of accommodation and it might not bother others who are more accustomed to it.

The location was great, close to the port and city centre, but tucked away on a quiet street. the beds were comfy, except for the bottom bunk which had limited headspace. the rooms were spacious and had lockers available. There were enough toilets and showers, so no waiting. the kitchen was well-equipped, and there was a lovely outdoor space.
If it had been busier, the limited number of showers and toilets could have been a problem. there was a major issue with the entrance code, causing a lot of inconvenience and confusion.
